Charity of the year

Each year, the Nebraska chapter of ARMA chooses a local charity to support through donations and the December auction. The 2007-08 charity will be the Northeast Family Center (Lincoln, NE). Please support this organization by donating items from the list below.

The chapter will also host the annual charity auction immediately following the December program. Each board member will provide a wrapped gift (perhaps something valuable, perhaps not) for the attendees to bid on. All proceeds are matched up to $500 by the chapter and donated to the charity.

The following items are needed for 3 different programs:  before/after school program, preschool, and childcare center.

• Colored card stock
• Paper cutter
• Glue sticks
• Construction paper
• Primary scissors (some pointed and some blunt)
• Cream of tartar
• Salt
• Children's books
• Alphabet stickers
• Glitter
• Colored tissue paper
• Beads
• Beading cord or elastic
• Watercolors
• Washable paint (for three different programs)
• Children's learning games (preschool/elementary)
• Walkie-talkies (for staff communications)
• Hula hoops
• Children-size basketballs
• Long jump ropes
